Pilates-Based Rehabilitation

Pilates is a series of exercises that can be performed with and without equipment. These exercises are very specific and designed to integrate the whole body in order to improve strength, flexibility, control, precision, agility and power. It focuses on establishing the true meaning of core muscles. Not just a strong core, but a dynamic, efficient, and controlled spine. With a precise understanding of how to control the center of your body, the true potential of the rest of the body can be achieved without strain and discomfort.

Pilates celebrates the uniqueness of every body, and does not try to fit it into one perfect posture. It offers greater flexibility and modifications than most forms of physical therapy and finds ways to allow each body to progress through strength despite perceived barriers or limitations.
