About Alix

Alix is a specialist in Stott Pilates-based rehabilitation. She holds certification in Stott Pilates Mat and Reformer. She is an orthopedic generalist and loves to work with both chronic and acute issues. She is certified in women’s pelvic health and vestibular rehab. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from California State University, Northridge.

Alix uses these certifications as well as CranioSacral therapy and Visceral Manipulation to find the root cause of an issue. Her approach is gentle and rooted in the understanding that any hands on skills are used with the goal of restoring pain free movement and function. This approach has shown to help navigate through complex issues that have not responded well to conventional treatments. Alix loves to treat all orthopedic conditions, but has taken a special interest in the treatment of Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS).

Alix knows the patient is the true expert of their body. Therefore it is invaluable to truly listen to the patient every single session, in order to help navigate through their best treatment options. She loves to collaborate with other practitioners to find the best outcomes and ensure the patient has what they need to reach their fullest potential.
